Good location and great facilities. Hostel was pretty quiet though, would not recommend to anyone travelling alone! Beds were comfy (although not that clean) and showers were good.
This hostel is so closed to the train station, and it is one of the cheapest. The hostel is a bit weird, (you have to walk through one of the rooms to go to the other), but you get what you pay, you cannot ask for a 5 star hotel for that price. The worst for me: They charged for luggage storage after checking out. They should advice that in their website. I found out that it is was cheaper to leave my luggage in the train station, so I left it in there.
The hostel is in a great location, next to Margit Bridge and Nyugati Railway Station. Different Staff was all very friendly and spoke very good English. On our request, they gave us good information about where to eat. Fully equipped kitchen and 2 Computers for free use where a plus too. The sink of the shower I used was full of hair and the bottom linen of my bed a tiny bit too short, but for a hostel still very clean and everything in good shape. Very good Value for the Price.
his hostel was great ! Great staff Very cheap Kitchen/Bathroom, and rooms very clean Location is central and walking distance Lock up storage boxes were big Only Disappointing this was that there was almost NO living room. HOWEVER this hostel really was one of my favourite.
Good, clean and quiet hostel. Location is pretty good for Budapest but I would recommend staying closer to the Jewish quarter to avoid the walk to the city centre (gets annoying after 4 days!) or buying metro tickets. Rather strange layout for a hostel where you walk through other people's rooms to get to yours (or other people walk through yours to get to theirs) and the common room is tucked away. Good wifi though and helpful staff.
Liked: 24 hour check-in, very helpful and nice receptionist, place where you could lock your stuff, towels for 1000 huf, shared computers and kitchen
Disliked: I was traveling with someone else but I'm not sure if there are enough lockers for everyone to have their own. The group we shared a room with was disrespectfully loud, but that wasn't the hostel's fault.
Booking- Booked with HostelBookers.com as I always do as I have never had any issues. Simple payment when we got to the flat we had booked along with helpful advice from the staff and a map of the local area.
Flat- Having booked a 4 Bedroom flat we expected two bunk beds.. pleasantly surprised our own flat had 3 single beds and a double above us; basically a studio flat. It had a kitchen, bathroom and private wifi. Ideal.
We were here for New Year and it was lovely and warm all day and night, really was fantastic. It was cleaned also when we were out.
One buzzer downstairs for 24/7 access was perfect and secure.
Oh and did I mention there are free shots at 8pm and they come to your room to serve you... what else could you ask for.
The hotel also organised our transport back from the hotel to airport for us... BUT BEWARE DO NOT PICK RANDOM TAXIS YOU CAN BE RIPPED OFF!
The hostel is in an excellent location, 5 minutes from the main airport connections and 20 minutes by foot from the parliament and the center of town. The rooms are spacious and not overcrowded, although they could do with a few more power sockets. Communal areas are nice, with a well-equipped kitchen, a living room and a pc area. Free Wi-Fi throughout the hostel. One thing I will point out: You do need to go through one of the rooms to reach the living room, so it could potentially get a bit busy if more guests are staying at the hostel and walking through your bedroom. Breakfast is not provided. Bathrooms and toilets are ok and in sufficient number to cater for the hostel's size. Overall, the hostel is clean and well-kept, reception is 24/7 and I found staff to be friendly and speak a good English.
Liked: The location is pretty good, easy to find and the girl (dark hair) that welcomed me was great and very good explaining thing - howeer I only saw her one day because the rest the staff wasn't helpful at all!!Then, the atmosphere is a bit quiet and to leave my luggage for few hours after checking out they were charging me about 5 euros!! Laundry quite expensive as well, I believe there are other hostels that can be better and in such a similar or better location. To end with, it was 0945 (empty beds and the lady in the front desk was rushing us to check out) .
Disliked: To have to pay for leaving your baggage few hrs after checking out- some of the staff.
