About The Interflat Hostel

The Interflat Hostel in Budapest is more than just a series of rooms as it also contains a number of serviced apartments that may appeal to some individuals. Located just 550 yards from the train station, it enjoys a wonderful location in the city allowing you to use it as a real base from where you can go and explore everything that the city has to offer.

The hostel itself has just five rooms, but the owners are cramming a lot into the hostel in way of facilities and services that are on offer. When it comes to the number of beds then you can choose from a 10 bed dorm, 12 bed, 8 bed, or 6 bed as well as a couple of smaller rooms, so there are options available.

When it comes to the services, then there is a 24 hour reception desk so the staff are always around in some form so they are able to help you with your problems no matter what they may be. However, after checking in, you can then go out onto the terrace and soak up the weather and just relax as you get used to your new surroundings.

In addition, there are luggage storage facilities as well as safety deposit boxes so you always feel as if any of your belongings will be safe and secure at all times. You can also use the laundry facilities and you have free access to the shared lounge and kitchen with this becoming the absolute heart of the Interflat Hostel. However, you should know that there are no pets allowed and you are not allowed to smoke in the rooms although that is what the outside terrace is for as there is a smoking area that has been set aside.

Finally, you should be aware that check in is available up to pretty much any time just as long as it is after 14:00 and checking out is before 10:00. If there are any issues outwith those times, then the staff are good at listening to what you have to say and will try to accommodate you as far as possible.

In short, the Interflat Hostel in Budapest is a wonderful location with friendly staff and a fantastic atmosphere. It is a hostel in the true sense of the word and even though the dorms can feel as if they have a lot of beds in them it does just add to the friendly feeling that permeates throughout the entire hostel.
